Head of Scale AI
Vanguard is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Head of Scale AI to lead our growing AI/ML engineering teams. As part of our growing AI/ML organization, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our AI/ML initiatives and promote collaboration across teams.The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 7+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering. Moreover, they will have a proven track record of leading successful AI/ML initiatives in a production environment, and a deep understanding of the latest technologies and trends in AI/ML engineering. We are seeking a leader who can bring their passion for AI/ML engineering to our organization and inspire others to do the same. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams and lead with vision and enthusiasm. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for AI/ML engineering initiatives that align with Vanguard’s objectives.
- Lead AI/ML engineering teams, providing direction, support, and mentorship.
- Foster collaboration between AI/ML engineers and other teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify and analyze industry trends and new technologies and develop plans for their implementation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Monitor the performance of AI/ML initiatives and develop plans for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Create and deliver presentations and reports to executive stakeholders.
- Develop and manage budgets for AI/ML engineering projects.
