  1. Conduct thorough and ongoing research to stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to governance, risk, and compliance.
  2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Monitor and assess potential risks to the organization and make recommendations for mitigating actions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and risk management requirements are incorporated into business processes and operations.
  5. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify any compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  6. Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance and risk management best practices.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and risk-related matters, and provide advice and support to leadership as needed.
  8. Investigate and report any compliance or risk-related incidents, and recommend preventative measures to avoid future occurrences.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of compliance and risk management activities.
  10. Collaborate with external auditors or regulatory agencies as needed to support audits or investigations.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's compliance and risk management processes and procedures.
  12. Stay informed of industry trends and developments related to governance, risk, and compliance, and make recommendations for incorporating best practices.
  13. Adhere to confidentiality and data protection policies in all compliance and risk management activities.
  14. Maintain a strong culture of ethical and responsible practices throughout the organization.
  15. Communicate any compliance or risk-related updates or changes to relevant stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field. A Strong Understanding Of Financial Principles And Industry Regulations Is Essential For A Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst Role At Vanguard.

  • Professional Certification In Risk Management Or Compliance, Such As Certified Risk Management Professional (Crmp) Or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (Crcm). This Demonstrates A Commitment To Staying Current With Industry Best Practices And Regulations.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Compliance, Or Audit Roles. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Foundation In Risk Assessment, Compliance Monitoring, And Internal Control Processes.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills. The Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst Role At Vanguard Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Potential Risks, And Develop Effective Solutions To Mitigate Those Risks.
