Job Description

Vanguard is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Financial Planner to help our clients build and maintain their financial plans. This Financial Planner will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing sound advice and guidance on all financial planning matters, from retirement and estate planning to investments and insurance. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual committed to providing high-quality service to Vanguard clients.The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong analytical, planning, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of financial planning products and services. He or she must be a highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to client service. We are seeking a Financial Planner with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning or a related field, and who has a CFP® or ChFC® designation. A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to Vanguard clients, providing sound advice and guidance on all financial planning matters.
  2. Analyze and assess client financial information and develop comprehensive financial plans.
  3. Research and recommend investments, insurance, and other financial planning products and services that best meet client needs.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, responding to their inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Monitor and review client financial plans on an ongoing basis to ensure they remain up-to-date and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Prepare and present financial plans to clients and explain their implications in an understandable and meaningful way.
  7. Remain current on financial planning trends, products, and services.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients receive the best possible service.
