DevSecOps Assurance Specialist

- Develop, implement, and maintain security measures and protocols for our DevOps processes and systems
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the entire DevOps lifecycle
- Monitor and analyze system logs and network traffic to identify and respond to security threats
- Implement and manage security tools, such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and security to continuously improve processes and systems
- Communicate and educate team members on security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery efforts, including root cause analysis and remediation
- Assist with internal and external security audits and compliance initiatives
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle
- Provide guidance and support to other team members on security-related issues and initiatives.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Devops Principles And Practices, Including Continuous Integration And Continuous Delivery (Ci/Cd) Pipelines.
Strong Understanding Of Information Security And Assurance Concepts, Including Vulnerability Management, Threat Modeling, And Secure Coding Practices.
Experience With Cloud Computing Platforms, Such As Aws Or Azure, And Familiarity With Security Controls And Best Practices For These Environments.
Proficiency In Automation And Scripting Languages, Such As Python, Powershell, Or Bash, To Support Security Testing And Integration Into Ci/Cd Pipelines.
Ability To Communicate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Operations, And Security Professionals, To Promote A Devsecops Culture And Ensure Security Is Integrated Throughout The Software Development Lifecycle.
