  9. Mentor and coach junior data scientists and team members to facilitate their professional growth and development.
  10. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in AI and machine learning.
  11. Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and events to showcase Vanguard's AI and machine learning capabilities.
  12. Comply with all regulatory and compliance standards related to AI and machine learning.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Background In Computer Science And/Or Mathematics: A Successful Candidate For A Ai Machine Learning Scientist Position At Vanguard Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Computer Science And Mathematics, Including Knowledge Of Algorithms, Data Structures, And Statistical Modeling.

  • Experience With Machine Learning Techniques And Tools: Candidates Should Have Experience Utilizing A Variety Of Machine Learning Techniques, Such As Supervised And Unsupervised Learning, Deep Learning, And Natural Language Processing. Familiarity With Tools Such As Tensorflow, Pytorch, And Scikit-Learn Is Also Important.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: Candidates Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Java. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Large Datasets And Be Able To Write Efficient And Well-Structured Code.

  • Knowledge Of Financial Markets And Investment Strategies: Since Vanguard Is A Financial Services Company, A Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets And Investment Strategies Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Portfolio Management, Risk Assessment, And Financial Modeling.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Ai Machine Learning Scientist At Vanguard Should Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills. They Should Be Able To Think Critically, Identify Patterns And Trends In Data, And Develop Innovative Solutions To Complex Problems.
