  1. Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students: Assist users with technical issues and inquiries related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to users.
  3. Install and configure new systems: Set up new hardware and software systems, perform necessary updates and configurations, and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
  4. Maintain and update systems: Monitor and maintain the performance and security of existing systems, and perform regular updates and maintenance tasks as required.
  5. Train users on new systems and technologies: Conduct training sessions to familiarize users with new systems, software, and technologies, and provide ongoing support and guidance as needed.
  6. Collaborate with IT team: Work closely with other members of the IT team to identify and resolve complex technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  7. Stay up-to-date with technology trends: Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the industry, and make recommendations for the adoption of new tools and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  8. Maintain documentation: Keep accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and user requests, and maintain documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
  9. Provide excellent customer service: Deliver exceptional customer service, actively listen to users' needs and concerns, and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  10. Adhere to security protocols: Follow security protocols and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with university policies and regulations.
  11. Participate in projects: Assist with IT projects and initiatives, and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  12. Continuously improve processes: Identify areas for improvement in technical support processes and procedures, and make proactive recommendations for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Technical Support Role, Preferably In An Academic Or Research Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Computer Hardware, Software, And Networking Systems, Including Experience With Windows And Mac Operating Systems.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Diagnose And Resolve Technical Issues.

  • Exceptional Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Users.
