- Plan, organize, and coordinate programs and initiatives that support the academic and career development of graduate students in the biomedical sciences.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance the training experience of graduate students.
- Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the programs.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records, for the programs.
- Communicate regularly with graduate students to keep them informed about program opportunities and updates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and resources to enhance program offerings.
- Conduct research and gather data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with the BRET office team to ensure the smooth operation of all activities related to graduate student support.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures related to program implementation.
- Provide guidance and support to graduate students in navigating academic and career development resources.
- Serve as a resource for graduate students seeking information about academic and career opportunities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and workshops for graduate students.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in graduate education and career development to inform program development and implementation.
- Represent the BRET office at university events and meetings related to graduate student support.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Education, Business, Or Project Management.
2-3 Years Of Experience In Program Coordination Or Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Students, And Staff.
Familiarity With Budget Management And Financial Reporting, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs.
