- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive pre-award grants management program for the School of Engineering.
- Identify and research potential funding opportunities from government agencies, private foundations, and other sources.
- Manage the entire pre-award process, including proposal development, budget preparation, and submission of grant applications.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop competitive grant proposals that align with the School's strategic priorities.
- Review and interpret funding agency guidelines to ensure compliance with all requirements and deadlines.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including funding agencies, to gather necessary information and resolve any issues related to grant proposals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant submissions, awards, and related documentation.
- Monitor and track grant proposal progress and provide regular updates to relevant parties.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to funding agencies in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about changes in grant regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines.
- Provide training and support to faculty and staff on grant-related matters, including best practices for proposal development and budget management.
- Collaborate with the School's finance team to ensure proper budget management and appropriate allocation of grant funds.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to increase grant funding and promote the School's research and educational initiatives.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide meetings and committees related to grant management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the pre-award grants management team and across the School of Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Finance, Or Public Administration.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Grants Management, Preferably In An Academic Or Research Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Private Funding Sources And Regulations Related To Grant Management.
Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Grants And Deadlines Simultaneously.
Proficiency In Grant Management Software And Systems, As Well As Advanced Skills In Microsoft Office Programs, Specifically Excel And Word.
