
Pest Control Specialist

- Conduct regular inspections of campus buildings and grounds to identify pest infestations and potential problem areas.
- Develop and implement effective pest control plans based on the type of pest, severity of infestation, and potential risks to the campus community.
- Utilize a variety of pest control methods, including chemical treatments and physical barriers, to eliminate and prevent pest infestations.
- Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including treatments performed and products used.
- Communicate with campus departments and staff to coordinate pest control efforts and address any concerns or issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, new pest control technologies, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Train and educate campus employees on pest control protocols and procedures to prevent pest infestations.
- Maintain and repair pest control equipment, and promptly report any malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Monitor and document pest control expenses and make recommendations for budget allocations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling and applying pesticides.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the campus community by promptly addressing pest control requests and concerns.
- Collaborate with external pest control vendors and contractors as needed.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Entomology, Biology, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Pest Control Or A Related Field
Certification As A Pest Control Technician Or Applicator License
Strong Knowledge Of Pest Biology, Behavior, And Control Methods
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Excellent Communication Skills
