
Irrigation Specialist

- Train and supervise a team of irrigation technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor and comply with all local and state water regulations and restrictions.
- Communicate with other campus departments and stakeholders regarding irrigation needs and updates.
- Assist with landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks as needed, including planting, pruning, and mulching.
- Participate in emergency response and snow removal efforts as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Represent Vanderbilt University in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Agriculture, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Irrigation System Design, Installation, And Maintenance.
Knowledge Of Local And State Regulations Related To Irrigation Systems And Water Conservation.
Proficiency In Using Irrigation Design Software And Mapping Tools.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
