  1. Oversee the coordination of support services and resources for students, ensuring that they have access to the necessary resources for their well-being and success.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to student care coordination, ensuring that they align with the mission and values of Vanderbilt University.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for students in need of support, providing compassionate and empathetic guidance and assistance.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and organizations on campus to identify and address the needs of students and improve the overall student experience.
  5. Monitor and track student data and trends to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for addressing them.
  6. Train and supervise a team of student care coordinators, providing guidance and support as they work with students.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and external resources to expand the support services available to students.
  8. Serve as an advocate for students, ensuring that their voices and needs are represented and addressed within the university.
  9. Stay up-to-date on best practices and research related to student care and wellness, and incorporate this knowledge into the services provided to students.
  10. Collaborate with other university leaders to develop and implement strategies for promoting a culture of care and well-being among students and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Student Support Services, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Leadership And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Students, Faculty, And Staff.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations, Such As The Family Educational Rights And Privacy Act (Ferpa) And The Americans With Disabilities Act (Ada).
