  1. Oversee and manage the Continuity counseling program at Vanderbilt University.
  2. Provide leadership and guidance to counseling staff.
  3. Develop and implement counseling policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the counseling program.
  5. Ensure the program meets the needs of students and staff during times of transition and uncertainty.
  6. Conduct regular trainings and workshops for counseling staff to enhance their skills.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and teams to promote mental well-being and continuity within the university.
  8. Handle any crisis situations that may arise within the counseling program.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of counseling services provided.
  10. Develop and manage budget for the counseling program.
  11. Recruit and hire qualified counseling staff.
  12. Provide individual and group counseling services as needed.
  13. Stay up-to-date on current counseling practices and techniques.
  14. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all individuals seeking counseling services.
  15. Represent the counseling program at university events and meetings.
  16. Communicate regularly with university administration to provide updates on the counseling program.
  17. Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support for students and staff.
  18. Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards in counseling services.
  19. Uphold the values and mission of Vanderbilt University in all aspects of the counseling program.
  20. Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the counseling program to better serve the university community.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Counseling Or Therapy, With A Focus On Continuity Of Care.

  • Prior Experience In A Managerial Or Leadership Role, Preferably In A University Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Counseling Ethics And Regulations, Especially Related To Confidentiality And Privacy.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team Of Counselors And Other Healthcare Professionals.
