- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the Credit Union, ensuring its financial stability and success.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support the mission and goals of the Credit Union.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Credit Union staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other departments and stakeholders within the university to promote collaboration and support.
- Prepare and present financial reports and updates to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Manage the Credit Union's budget and financial resources, making strategic decisions to drive growth and sustainability.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative ideas to enhance the Credit Union's services and offerings.
- Serve as a representative of the Credit Union and Vanderbilt University, promoting its values and commitment to community engagement.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field With A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Financial Management, Preferably At A Credit Union Or Financial Institution.
Cpa (Certified Public Accountant) Or Cfa (Chartered Financial Analyst) Designation Preferred.
Strong Understanding Of Credit Union Operations, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Leading A Finance Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Key Stakeholders And Board Members.
