
CARE Support Coordinator

- Provide compassionate and supportive care to students facing mental health challenges.
- Serve as a point of contact for students seeking mental health support and resources.
- Conduct initial assessments of students' mental health needs and refer them to appropriate resources.
- Collaborate with other members of the mental health team to develop personalized care plans for students.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
- Stay up-to-date on mental health resources and services available on campus and in the community.
- Coordinate and facilitate support groups and workshops for students.
- Advocate for students' mental health needs and provide guidance on navigating the university system.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and education related to mental health and student support.
- Collaborate with other departments and organizations within the university to promote mental health awareness and support.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of mental health support services for students.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to confidentiality and student privacy.
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team dynamic within the mental health department.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Counseling Or Social Work Setting.
Knowledge Of And Experience With Crisis Intervention And Mental Health Support.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Work With Diverse Populations.
Experience Working In A University Or College Setting Is Preferred.
