1. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, identify any maintenance issues, and report them to the appropriate supervisor.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing plumbing fixtures, and fixing minor electrical issues.
3. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize urgent issues.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex maintenance problems and provide effective solutions.
5. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including the materials used and the time spent on each task.
6. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure all buildings are in good working condition.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
8. Proactively identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to address them.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored.
10. Communicate effectively with other team members, as well as students, faculty, and staff, to provide exceptional customer service.
11. Stay up-to-date with maintenance techniques and best practices to continuously improve performance.
12. Assist with special projects and events as needed.
13. Follow university policies and procedures at all times.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the university.
15. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
