Job Description

Vanderbilt University is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and patient Early Childhood Educator to join our team as an Assistant Teacher! We are looking for an individual with a strong commitment to providing supportive and engaging learning experiences for our young students. In this role, the Assistant Teacher will provide assistance and support to the classroom teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that is conducive to the development of our students. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field, and be knowledgeable of and compliant with the standards of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Additionally, they must have experience working with children in a classroom setting and be able to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students. A caring, compassionate, and patient attitude is also essential for this position.
