  1. Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families, providing timely and accurate information about Vanderbilt University and the admissions process.
  2. Conduct presentations and informational sessions to educate students and families about the university's programs, resources, and opportunities.
  3. Evaluate and review applications, transcripts, test scores, and other relevant materials to make admissions decisions in accordance with university policies and standards.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of the university's academic offerings, admission requirements, and financial aid options to effectively advise students on their options.
  5. Utilize data and analysis to track and report on admissions trends, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to attract and enroll a diverse student body.
  6. Collaborate with other university departments and stakeholders to develop and implement recruitment and outreach initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
  7. Travel to high schools, college fairs, and other events to represent the university and engage with prospective students and families.
  8. Build relationships with high school counselors and other educational professionals to promote the university and increase referrals.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with students and applicants, and provide timely and thorough responses to inquiries and requests for information.
  10. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in admissions, higher education, and diversity and inclusion.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Education, Counseling, Or Psychology.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In College Admissions, Preferably At A Selective University.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Vanderbilt University And Its Admissions Process.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Diverse Populations.

  • Experience In Data Analysis And Proficiency With Admissions Software And Technology.
