Logistics Special Project Supervisor

The Logistics Special Project Supervisor will be responsible to assist the Logistics Department in the execution of multiple tasks that support department productivity and company initiatives. Acts as the Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multi-departmental projects. Is the Logistics Department liaison with other teams during meetings and planning sessions. Knowledge and experience coordinating all actions related to product flow from production to delivery. Ability to provide training to supervisors and associates. Continuous Improvement/Lean (Must possess ability to learn and implement). Understanding of the principles and the ability to facilitate the determination of root cause of issues/opportunities. Capability of to analyze production data to identify opportunities. Ability to facilitate improvement projects. Fills in for Managers and Supervisors when needed.
