
Field Technicians - Vegetation Monitoring
At Utah State University, we're looking for motivated and enthusiastic Field Technicians - Vegetation Monitoring to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for the collection of vegetation data and the integration of that data into our ongoing research projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the environment and take pride in their work.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in ecology, environmental science or a related field, as well as at least one year of field experience in vegetation monitoring. You must be able to work both independently and with a team, and be comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures, high humidity, and areas with poisonous animals or plants. You must also be able to lift up to 50lbs. Additionally, you must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel throughout the state of Utah.
