  1. Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise from suppliers and vendors.
  2. Verify and accurately document the contents of each shipment.
  3. Organize and store merchandise in designated locations within the warehouse.
  4. Ensure all merchandise is labeled and tagged correctly for easy identification.
  5. Utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor inventory levels.
  6. Prepare and pack merchandise for shipment to stores or customers.
  7. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  9. Assist with regular maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment.
  10. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  11. Communicate any issues or concerns with inventory or shipments to management.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing job duties.
  13. Assist with training and onboarding of new Warehouse Associates.
  14. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding merchandise handling and storage.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and increase efficiency within the warehouse.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior Warehouse Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Warehouse Environment, With Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Shipping And Receiving, And Operating Warehouse Equipment.

  • Attention To Detail: A Warehouse Associate At Urban Outfitters Must Have Strong Attention To Detail To Accurately Pick, Pack, And Label Merchandise For Shipment. This Includes Checking For Any Damages Or Discrepancies With Orders.

  • Physical Stamina: The Job Of A Warehouse Associate Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring The Ability To Stand For Long Periods Of Time, Lift And Move Heavy Objects, And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Team Player: Urban Outfitters Values Teamwork And Collaboration, So Candidates For This Position Should Be Able To Work Well With Others And Communicate Effectively.

  • Familiarity With Inventory Management Systems: A Basic Understanding Of Warehouse Management Systems And The Ability To Learn New Software Quickly Is Important For A Warehouse Associate At Urban Outfitters. This Includes Proficiency In Using Hand-Held Scanners And Other Warehouse Technology.
