- Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient and orderly manner.
- Prepare and pack merchandise for shipment to stores and customers.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that all merchandise meets company standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards set by the company.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Strive to meet and exceed customer expectations by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Make recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations: A Warehouse Associate At Urban Outfitters Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Warehouse Processes, Including Receiving, Picking, Packing, And Shipping. They Should Also Be Familiar With Inventory Management Systems And Able To Use Warehouse Equipment Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks.
Physical Stamina And Strength: This Role Involves A Lot Of Physical Work, Such As Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Working In Various Weather Conditions. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In A Warehouse Environment, And A Warehouse Associate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That The Right Products Are Picked And Shipped To The Correct Location. They Should Also Be Able To Spot Any Damaged Or Defective Items And Report Them To Their Supervisor.
Strong Communication Skills: Warehouse Associates At Urban Outfitters Often Work In A Team Environment, So It's Essential To Have Excellent Communication Skills. This Includes Being Able To Take Direction From Supervisors, Collaborate With Coworkers, And Communicate Effectively With Other Departments.
