Job Description

Welcome to Urban Outfitters! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about our brand and has a strong understanding of the retail industry.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  2. Ensure exceptional customer service is provided by all team members at all times.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet store targets.
  4. Train and supervise staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about the brand and able to provide excellent customer service.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Create and maintain employee schedules, taking into account store needs and budget.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
  8. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Work closely with upper management to develop and implement store policies and procedures.
  10. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  11. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and buying, to plan and execute store events and promotions.
  13. Monitor and manage store budget, including expenses, payroll, and inventory.
  14. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market changes to make informed decisions for the store.
  15. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Management: A Store Manager At Urban Outfitters Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Managing A Retail Store, Preferably In The Fashion Or Lifestyle Industry. This Experience Should Include Overseeing Day-To-Day Operations, Managing Staff, And Driving Sales And Profitability.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Store Manager Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Employees. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Resolve Conflicts In A Professional Manner.

This Includes Staying Up-To-Date With The Latest Fashion Trends, As Well As Understanding The Unique Aesthetic And Culture Of The Brand.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: A Store Manager Should Have Exceptional Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Effectively Communicate With Employees, Customers, And Corporate Headquarters. They Should Also Have A Strong Focus On Providing Excellent Customer Service To Ensure A Positive Shopping Experience For All Customers.

  • Ability To Drive Sales And Meet Financial Goals: A Store Manager Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Driving Sales And Meeting Financial Targets. This Includes Setting And Monitoring Sales Goals, Analyzing Sales Data, And Implementing Strategies To Increase Revenue And Profitability.
