- Maintain Inventory: Keep track of inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts through regular inventory audits.
- Stock Organization: Ensure that all merchandise is properly organized and displayed on the sales floor, including restocking and replenishing items as needed.
- Receive and Process Shipments: Receive and process inbound shipments, including unpacking, sorting, and tagging merchandise.
- Maintain Visual Standards: Work with the visual team to ensure that all merchandise is properly displayed and presented in accordance with company standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and locating items.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with store management and other team members to coordinate stock and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and have a strong understanding of the products carried in the store.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management tasks such as cycle counts, stock transfers, and markdowns.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and cash handling procedures.
- Continual Improvement: Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective stock management.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations: A Stock Associate At Urban Outfitters Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of How A Retail Store Operates, Including Inventory Management, Stocking Procedures, And Customer Service.
Physical Stamina: This Job Can Involve Long Periods Of Standing, Lifting Heavy Boxes, And Moving Quickly To Restock Shelves. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
