We are currently seeking a Stock Associate to join our team and assist in maintaining our store's inventory and ensuring our merchandise is displayed impeccably.   1. Maintain store inventory levels by receiving, organizing, and restocking merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Keep track of inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies to management.
  3. Ensure all merchandise is displayed in an organized and visually appealing manner.
  4. Collaborate with team members to execute floor sets and maintain visual standards.
  5. Assist with floor moves, processing shipment, and stocking sales floor as needed.
  6. Ensure all products are correctly labeled and priced.
  7. Monitor product levels and communicate to management when reorder is necessary.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and backroom area.
  9. Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent loss and minimize shrinkage.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering any product-related questions.
  11. Participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.
  12. Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with team members.
  13. Communicate any customer feedback or concerns to management.
  14. Follow all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance guidelines.
  15. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Retail Experience: Experience Working In A Retail Environment Is Typically Preferred For A Stock Associate Position At Urban Outfitters. This Could Include Experience In A Similar Role Or In A Customer-Facing Role.

  • Knowledge Of Merchandising And Inventory Management: A Stock Associate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of How To Effectively Merchandise Products And Manage Inventory Levels In Order To Maintain A Visually Appealing And Organized Store.

  • Attention To Detail: Stock Associates Are Responsible For Ensuring That The Store Is Well-Stocked And Visually Appealing. This Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail, As Well As The Ability To Notice When Items Are Out Of Place Or Need To Be Restocked.

  • Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Extended Periods Of Time. A Stock Associate Should Have The Physical Stamina To Handle The Demands Of The Job.

  • Team Player: Stock Associates Often Work As Part Of A Team, So It Is Important For Them To Be Able To Collaborate Effectively And Communicate With Their Colleagues. They Should Have A Positive Attitude And Be Willing To Help Out In Other Areas Of The Store When Needed.
