Sample Coordinator

As a Sample Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate management of all product samples. - Manage and organize all incoming and outgoing product samples, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Track and monitor sample inventory levels to ensure availability for various departments and projects.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams, including buying, design, and production, to ensure timely delivery and distribution of samples.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sample movements and locations.
- Prepare and pack samples for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Inspect samples for quality and accuracy, reporting any issues to the appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with vendors and factories to track and receive samples in a timely manner.
- Handle sample returns and exchanges, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in sample photo shoots and presentations, ensuring all samples are organized and accessible.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and trends to accurately identify and manage samples.
- Provide support to the buying and design teams by assisting with sample requests and sample room organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot any sample-related issues and find solutions.
- Adhere to company standards and procedures for sample management.
- Continuously improve sample management processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized sample room to ensure easy accessibility for all teams.
Knowledge Of Fashion Trends And Urban Outfitters Brand: A Sample Coordinator Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Current Fashion Landscape And Be Familiar With Urban Outfitters' Brand Aesthetic.
Attention To Detail: This Role Requires Careful Handling And Organization Of Product Samples, So A Keen Eye For Detail Is Essential To Ensure Accuracy And Prevent Errors.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Sample Coordinator, You Will Be Working With Multiple Departments And Teams, Including Buyers, Designers, And Merchandisers. Excellent Communication Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Communicate Sample Information And Any Potential Issues.
