Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Sales Associate to join our team and help us provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the store's visual appearance, and driving sales. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, outgoing, and has a love for fashion. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced and creative environment, we would love to have you on our team.

  1. Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and approachable manner.
  2. Assist customers in finding and trying on merchandise, providing recommendations and styling advice based on their preferences.
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of current fashion trends and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
  4. Handle all transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card, and gift card transactions.
  5. Keep the store’s visual appearance clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  6. Monitor and restock merchandise on the sales floor to ensure availability for customers.
  7. Meet and exceed sales goals by actively promoting and upselling products to customers.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.
  10. Complete daily tasks and responsibilities assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures.
  11. Proactively seek out and resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  12. Continuously strive to improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and development opportunities.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures.
  14. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude while representing the Urban Outfitters brand.
  15. Serve as a brand ambassador by embodying the company’s values of individuality and self-expression.

Job Qualifications
