As a Personal Stylist, you will have the opportunity to use your keen eye for style and knowledge of current trends to curate unique and personalized looks for our customers. We are looking for someone who is confident, personable, and has a strong understanding of our brand.   1. Create personalized and unique looks for customers based on their individual style, body type, and preferences.
  2. Stay updated on current fashion trends and incorporate them into styling recommendations.
  3. Use excellent customer service skills to connect with customers, understand their needs, and build long-lasting relationships.
  4. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the brand and its aesthetic to accurately represent the company.
  5. Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate styling suggestions and product information to customers.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and visually appealing store environment.
  7. Maintain an organized and visually appealing area within the store dedicated to personal styling services.
  8. Continuously build and maintain a client base through networking and referrals.
  9. Meet and exceed sales goals by providing exceptional styling services and product recommendations.
  10. Stay informed on product knowledge and inventory to accurately recommend and suggest items to customers.
  11. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the personal styling program and customer experience.
  12. Attend training and development sessions to stay current on industry and company updates and procedures.
  13. Maintain a professional and polished appearance at all times to represent the brand image.
  14. Uphold company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, handling customer complaints and returns.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for self-improvement and growth within the company.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Fashion And Trends: A Personal Stylist At Urban Outfitters Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends And An Eye For What Styles And Pieces Will Appeal To The Store's Target Demographic.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As A Personal Stylist, You Will Be Working Closely With Customers To Understand Their Style Preferences And Help Them Curate Their Wardrobe. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships With Clients And Providing Top-Notch Customer Service.

  • Experience In Retail Or Styling: Prior Experience In A Retail Environment Or As A Personal Stylist Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of The Retail Industry And The Ability To Work With Customers.

  • Creativity And Attention To Detail: A Personal Stylist At Urban Outfitters Should Be Creative And Have A Keen Eye For Detail. This Role Involves Putting Together Outfits And Looks For Customers, So Having A Strong Sense Of Style And Attention To Detail Is Crucial.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: The Fashion Industry Is Constantly Evolving, And As A Personal Stylist, You Must Be Able To Adapt To Changing Trends And Customer Preferences. This Role Also Requires Flexibility In Scheduling To Accommodate Customer Needs, Including Working Weekends And Holidays.
