Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and fashion-forward Merchandiser to join our team and help us curate a unique and inspiring shopping experience for our customers. As a Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in selecting and displaying our merchandise, creating visually appealing and on-trend displays, and ensuring our products are always presented in the best possible way. If you have a keen eye for style, a strong understanding of market trends, and a love for all things Urban Outfitters, then we want to hear from you!

  1. Select and curate merchandise for the store to align with the brand's aesthetic and target customer base.
  2. Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and incorporate them into displays and product selection.
  3. Work closely with the buying team to understand the brand's vision and assist in the buying process.
  4. Maintain a visually appealing and organized store layout, including window displays and in-store displays.
  5. Collaborate with the store team to ensure that merchandise is replenished and restocked in a timely manner.
  6. Analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product placement and inventory levels.
  7. Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure that the store has a well-stocked and diverse selection of products.
  8. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and effectively communicate product information to customers.
  9. Continuously assess customer feedback and preferences to make adjustments to the merchandise selection and displays.
  10. Assist with training and mentoring new team members on visual merchandising best practices.
  11. Ensure that all merchandise is priced accurately and in line with company guidelines.
  12. Create and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms to ensure profitability.
  13. Ensure that all merchandise is properly tagged and labeled according to company standards.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and sales to create cohesive promotions and displays.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
