As a Key Holder, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the overall success of our store.   1. Greet and engage with customers in a welcoming and friendly manner, creating a positive and inclusive shopping experience.
  2. Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of Urban Outfitters' brand, products, and current fashion trends.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, sizing, and styling advice.
  4. Act as a role model for the team by embodying the Urban Outfitters brand and promoting a culture of individuality, creativity, and self-expression.
  5. Assist in driving sales by proactively engaging with customers, suggesting additional items, and upselling products.
  6. Ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked by restocking merchandise, organizing displays, and maintaining cleanliness.
  7. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, following all company procedures.
  8. Train and mentor new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  9. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed, including opening and closing the store, handling store operations, and assisting with inventory management.
  10. Act as a liaison between the store team and management by communicating any customer or operational issues, as well as providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, working collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals and objectives.
  12. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  13. Attend and participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.
  14. Embody and promote the Urban Outfitters brand values and mission in all interactions with customers and team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Key Holder At Urban Outfitters Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role. This Experience Will Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Customer Service, Sales Techniques, And Store Operations.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Key Holder, It Is Important To Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Fellow Employees. This Includes Being Able To Provide Clear Instructions, Handle Customer Complaints, And Work Well In A Team Environment.

  • Organizational Skills: Key Holders Are Responsible For Opening And Closing The Store, As Well As Managing Inventory And Cash Handling. Therefore, Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential To Ensure That All Tasks Are Completed Accurately And Efficiently.

  • Leadership Abilities: A Key Holder Is Expected To Lead By Example And Motivate Their Team To Achieve Sales Goals And Provide Outstanding Customer Service. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Availability And Flexibility: As A Key Holder, There May Be Times When You Are Required To Work Early Mornings, Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. Therefore, It Is Important To Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work During Peak Business Hours.
