- Oversee Store Operations: The Key Holder will be responsible for assisting in the management of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining store appearance.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: It is the Key Holder's responsibility to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience by providing excellent service and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Lead and Train Staff: The Key Holder will assist in training new team members and providing ongoing coaching and development for the team to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
- Act as a Role Model: The Key Holder will set a positive example for the team by embodying the company's values and demonstrating a strong work ethic.
- Drive Sales: The Key Holder will assist in driving sales and meeting targets by actively engaging with customers, suggesting products, and promoting current promotions and events.
- Merchandising: The Key Holder will assist in creating visually appealing displays and maintaining proper product placement in accordance with company guidelines.
- Inventory Management: The Key Holder will assist in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and assisting with receiving and processing shipments.
- Adhere to Company Policies: The Key Holder will ensure that all team members are following company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, dress code, safety protocols, and loss prevention measures.
- Handle Customer Complaints: The Key Holder will be responsible for handling customer complaints and finding solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Fashion Trends: The Key Holder will stay informed on current fashion trends and product knowledge in order to assist customers and make informed suggestions.
- Support Store Management: The Key Holder will assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in any additional tasks or projects as needed.
Prior Retail Experience: A Candidate For A Key Holder Position At Urban Outfitters Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Similar Role Such As A Sales Associate Or Supervisor.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Key Holder, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading A Team Of Sales Associates. They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Delegate Tasks And Provide Guidance To Team Members.
Knowledge Of Urban Outfitters Brand And Products: It Is Important For A Key Holder To Have A Strong Understanding Of The Urban Outfitters Brand And Its Products. This Includes Knowledge Of Current Trends, Product Features, And The Ability To Provide Recommendations To Customers.
Organizational And Problem-Solving Abilities: Key Holders Are Often Responsible For Opening And Closing The Store, Managing Cash Registers, And Handling Customer Inquiries And Complaints. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Organizational Skills And The Ability To Handle And Resolve Issues Effectively.
