Employee Relations Specialist

1. Develop and implement company policies and procedures related to employee relations.
2. Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding any workplace concerns or conflicts.
3. Conduct investigations into employee grievances and complaints, ensuring a fair and thorough process.
4. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and accommodations.
5. Monitor and analyze employee relations data to identify trends and proactively address potential issues.
6. Collaborate with HR team to develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics.
7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
8. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to employee relations.
9. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
10. Partner with management to develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and morale.
11. Stay up-to-date on best practices and industry trends in employee relations and make recommendations for improvement.
12. Communicate and educate employees on company policies, procedures, and expectations.
13. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
14. Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
15. Serve as a mediator in conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
16. Conduct exit interviews and provide recommendations for improvement based on feedback.
17. Collaborate with legal counsel as needed on employee relations matters.
18. Participate in HR team meetings and contribute to the development of HR initiatives and strategies.
19. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally.
20. Continuously evaluate and improve employee relations processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
