Job Description

Urban Outfitters seeks an experienced and motivated Distribution Center Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a passion for driving results and optimizing warehouse processes. They will have a strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills, and be able to manage a diverse team of employees. This individual will be responsible for the overall success of the Distribution Center, including inventory management, operational efficiency, and cost control.The successful candidate will have a successful track record in managing and leading a Distribution Center with a minimum of 5 years' experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred. An understanding of warehouse management systems, best practices, and inventory control techniques is essential for success in this role. The Distribution Center Manager must be able to think strategically and anticipate customer needs, while also possessing the ability to be agile and execute quickly. Above all, the successful candidate must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills as they will be interacting with customers, vendors, and distribution center staff.
