Job Description

Are you a fashion-forward leader with a passion for customer service? Urban Outfitters is seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Manager to oversee our Service & Styling department. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and managing a team of talented stylists.   1. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction within the Service & Styling department.
  2. Manage and lead a team of stylists, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure exceptional customer service and styling expertise.
  3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, including scheduling, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  4. Act as a brand ambassador for Urban Outfitters and ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about the company's values, products, and customer service standards.
  5. Monitor and analyze department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to achieve sales targets.
  6. Work closely with other department managers and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive shopping experience for customers.
  7. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among team members.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities, using this information to inform business decisions and drive innovation within the department.
  9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to the satisfaction of the customer and the company.
  10. Maintain a high level of personal style and fashion knowledge, and use this to inspire and guide team members in delivering on-trend and stylish customer service.
