  1. Curate and manage merchandise assortments across all channels, including physical stores and online platforms.
  2. Work closely with the merchandise planning team to develop and implement strategic merchandise plans that align with company goals and objectives.
  3. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed recommendations for future assortments.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as buying, marketing, and inventory management to ensure a cohesive merchandise strategy.
  5. Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to inform merchandise decisions.
  6. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
  7. Assist in the development of merchandise budgets and forecasts, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met.
  8. Provide support to merchandise planners in creating merchandise presentations and reports for management.
  9. Participate in merchandise planning meetings and contribute ideas and insights to drive business growth.
  10. Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained and excess inventory is minimized.
  11. Collaborate with visual merchandising team to ensure proper display and presentation of merchandise in-store and online.
  12. Maintain a strong understanding of customer preferences and behaviors to inform merchandise strategies.
  13. Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive shopping experience for customers.
  14. Assist in training and mentoring junior merchandise planning team members.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with merchandising standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Merchandising, Or A Related Field.

  • Previous Experience In Retail Merchandising Or Planning, Preferably With A Fashion Or Lifestyle Brand.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Present Data.

  • Knowledge Of Current Fashion Trends And The Urban Outfitters Brand Aesthetic.
