  1. Collaborate with the design team to develop and execute unique and on-trend print designs that align with the Urban Outfitters brand.
  2. Utilize CAD software to create digital renderings of print designs for review and approval.
  3. Conduct research on current and upcoming print and pattern trends, and incorporate them into design concepts.
  4. Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate and timely execution of print designs.
  5. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all print designs and revisions.
  6. Attend and actively participate in design meetings and presentations.
  7. Continuously monitor and assess the quality of print designs, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
  8. Assist in the creation of technical packages and instructions for production.
  9. Keep up-to-date with advancements in CAD software and utilize new tools and techniques to enhance the design process.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and merchandising, to ensure print designs align with overall brand strategy.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  12. Follow and adhere to company standards and processes for design and production.
  13. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the CAD Print team and Urban Outfitters brand.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Cad Software: The Assistant Designer Should Have A Strong Understanding And Experience Using Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software, Such As Adobe Illustrator, To Create And Edit Print Designs.

  • Knowledge Of Print Design Principles: Urban Outfitters Values Unique And Eye-Catching Print Designs, So The Assistant Designer Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Color Theory, Composition, And Other Design Principles To Create Visually Appealing And On-Trend Prints.
