
Assistant Department Manager

- Assist the Department Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the assigned department.
- Help create an exceptional shopping experience for customers by providing excellent customer service.
- Work closely with the Department Manager to drive sales and meet departmental sales goals.
- Maintain a high level of visual merchandising standards, ensuring the department is always visually appealing and on-brand.
- Train and develop team members to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement strategies to increase sales.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of products in the department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention.
- Collaborate with the buying team to ensure the department has the right product assortment and is meeting the needs of the target market.
- Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a customer-first mindset.
- Assist in scheduling and managing payroll for department employees.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends and have a keen understanding of the target market.
- Assist in planning and executing promotions, events, and displays to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and provide feedback to the Department Manager.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Retail Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Motivate And Develop A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Effective Collaboration With Other Departments And Upper Management.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends And The Ability To Apply Them To Merchandising And Sales Strategies.
