Job Description

The Robotics AI Lab (RAIL) at the UPS Advanced Technology Group (ATG) conducts cutting-edge research and development to build novel robotics solutions for UPS. The RAIL is searching for an intern, who has a research/engineering background with advanced degrees and expertise in robotics-related fields. Working with a project manager to develop a methodology for a robot system validation. Conducting a test plan and analyze test results. Developing multi-agent routing planning for multi-robot system collaboration. Develop/deploy/validate novel approaches to solve open-ended problems. Collaborate with other teams to create a new idea, design a new system, and validate/test its performance.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with robot path-planning, route optimization and geospatial analysis

  • Familiarity with cutting-edge technology in robotics (both software and hardware)

  • Ability to implement research ideas on a physical robot platform

  • Ability to work on a diverse team/with a diverse range of coworkers.

Compensation
