Preload Supervisor

- Manage and oversee the loading of packages onto delivery trucks to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Lead and motivate a team of loaders to meet daily targets and uphold high quality standards.
- Train new team members on proper loading procedures and techniques.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure all packages are accounted for and loaded onto the correct trucks.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure packages are loaded securely and safely.
- Communicate with drivers and other team members to ensure smooth coordination and loading of packages.
- Address any loading issues or delays in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized loading area.
- Handle and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise within the loading team.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
- Create and maintain daily reports on loading activity and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve loading processes and efficiency.
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures and implement any changes as necessary.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment for the loading team.
- Represent UPS in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Strong Leadership Skills: A Preload Supervisor At Ups Must Have The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Preloaders In A Fast-Paced And Physically Demanding Environment.
Knowledge Of Ups Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Ups Operations, Including Loading And Unloading Procedures, Package Handling, And Safety Protocols.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential In A Preload Supervisor Role, As They Are Responsible For Relaying Information From Management To The Preloaders And Vice Versa.
