Planning Services Analyst

The Planning Services Senior Analyst takes a lead role within the Surface Network Planning team to support the ground network planning strategies. He/She is responsible for managing strategic relationships within the enterprise relating to ongoing, multi-year programs relevant to a business unit's transportation network. Develops data design based on exploratory data analysis to meet stated business need. Identifies data requirements for the Enterprise Transportation Network Planning program to effectively leverage data, knowledge, and tools. Identifies areas of improvement that have a high impact on the equipment planning to direct development efforts to the proper areas. Synthesizes insights and documents findings through clear and concise presentations and reports to inform stakeholders. Develops effective written and verbal communication strategies to gain consensus by clearly relaying key issues to UPS stakeholders. Audits and tests new processes to verify they operate successfully and automates processes where appropriate to increase process efficiency and accuracy.
