  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems in UPS buildings and equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
  3. Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
  4. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical systems.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  6. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to identify and address any potential hazards or safety concerns.
  7. Communicate effectively with other departments and managers to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  8. Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  9. Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during daily operations.
  10. Keep work area clean and organized, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  11. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to electrical maintenance.
  12. Assist with other building maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Electrical Systems: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Electrical Systems, Including Wiring, Circuits, And Components, To Effectively Troubleshoot And Maintain Them.

  • Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations: A Building Maintenance Mechanic At Ups Should Be Well-Versed In Local And National Building Codes And Regulations Related To Electrical Work To Ensure Compliance And Safety.

  • Experience With Electrical Maintenance: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience In Maintaining And Repairing Electrical Systems In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting, Including The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Schematics.

  • Familiarity With Ups Equipment: As A Building Maintenance Mechanic At Ups, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Ups Equipment, Such As Conveyors And Sorting Machines, Which Require A Working Knowledge Of Electrical Systems.

  • Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Electrical Issues, Minimizing Downtime And Keeping Operations Running Smoothly.
