  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in UPS facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and make necessary repairs.

  4. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
  5. Coordinate with other maintenance team members to ensure all electrical systems are functioning properly.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The First Qualification For A Building Maintenance Mechanic (Electrical) Job At Ups Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education. This Level Of Education Is Essential For Understanding Technical Manuals, Safety Procedures, And Basic Math And Science Concepts.

  • Trade School Certification: A Certification Or Diploma From A Trade School In Electrical Maintenance Or A Related Field Is Often Required For This Position. This Demonstrates A Solid Foundation In Electrical Systems And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Various Equipment.

  • Electrical Experience: Previous Experience In Electrical Maintenance, Preferably In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting, Is Necessary For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Wiring, Circuitry, And Electrical Systems, As Well As Experience With Electrical Tools And Equipment.

This Includes The Ability To Read And Interpret Schematics And Blueprints, Use Diagnostic Equipment, And Understand Electrical Codes And Regulations.

  • Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Physical Stamina To Perform Tasks Such As Lifting And Carrying Heavy Equipment, Climbing Ladders, And Standing For Extended Periods. Candidates Should Also Be Comfortable Working In All Weather Conditions And Be Able To Handle Physically Demanding Tasks.
