  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems within UPS facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  3. Utilize technical knowledge and expertise to ensure safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
  4. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to identify and address any potential electrical hazards or concerns.
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, as well as any relevant documentation.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, and make recommendations for restocking as needed.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  8. Communicate regularly with management and other team members to report any issues or concerns that may impact operations.
  9. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to electrical systems and maintenance.
  11. Work with outside contractors or vendors as needed for larger electrical projects.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external clients.
  14. Stay flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting teamwork and open communication.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Electrical Knowledge And Experience: A Building Maintenance Mechanic (Electrical) At Ups Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Electrical Systems, Equipment, And Components. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Various Tools And Meters Used In Electrical Maintenance And Repair.

  • Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Identify And Resolve Electrical Issues Quickly And Efficiently Is Crucial For This Role. A Qualified Candidate Should Be Able To Troubleshoot Complex Problems And Develop Effective Solutions.

  • Physical Stamina And Dexterity: This Job May Require Working In Tight Spaces, Climbing Ladders, And Standing For Extended Periods. A Candidate Should Have The Physical Ability To Perform These Tasks And Possess Good Hand-Eye Coordination And Manual Dexterity.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: Working With Electricity Can Be Hazardous, And A Building Maintenance Mechanic (Electrical) Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Safety Procedures And Protocols. This Includes Knowledge Of Lock-Out/Tag-Out Procedures, Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe), And Safe Work Practices.
