  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on UPS fleet vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles and make necessary repairs.

  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for the fleet.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Level Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For An Automotive Technician Position At Ups.

  • Automotive Technical Training: Candidates Must Have Completed Some Form Of Automotive Technical Training, Such As A Certificate Or Associate's Degree Program, To Qualify For This Job.

  • Ase Certification: Ups Prefers Candidates With Automotive Service Excellence (Ase) Certification In Areas Such As Brakes, Electrical Systems, Or Engine Performance.

  • Experience With Diagnostics Tools: Automotive Technicians At Ups Must Have Experience Working With Computerized Diagnostic Tools And Software To Troubleshoot And Repair Vehicles.

  • Physical Ability: This Job Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects, Work In Tight Spaces, And Stand For Long Periods Of Time. Candidates Must Be Able To Meet These Physical Demands To Be Considered For The Position.
