In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles to ensure they are running at peak performance.   1. Perform routine maintenance on UPS fleet vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  2. Conduct diagnostic tests and identify any mechanical or electrical issues.
  3. Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts.
  4. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding repair timelines and updates.
  7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and techniques.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  9. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during maintenance or repairs.
  11. Perform quality control checks to ensure vehicles meet company standards.
  12. Assist with training and mentoring new Automotive Technicians.
  13. Keep inventory of necessary parts and equipment and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules.
  15. Attend regular training and development sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Completion Of An Accredited Automotive Technology Program Or Equivalent Work Experience

  • Ase Certification In At Least One Area (E.g. Brakes, Engine Repair, Electrical Systems)

  • Strong Mechanical And Technical Skills, Including Knowledge Of Diagnostic Tools And Equipment

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Physically Demanding Environment And Lift Up To 50 Lbs.
