
Applications Development Manager
The Applications Development Manager will manage the delivery of a new SaaS (Software as a Service) Payroll Solution as part of the Workforce, Time & Pay Transformation Program. He/she will participate in systems architecture, data design, integration analysis, technology planning, migration, conversion, testing, deployment and maintenance planning for the SaaS solution. The Applications Development Manager will manage the transformation project including collaboration with internal UPS IT & GBS payroll teams, external Business Integrator and Systems Integrator vendors. He/She will be responsible for budgeting/resource allocations and will work with the Business Integrator and Systems Integrator to deliver the Payroll solution. He/She will ensure the project meets or exceeds all security and audit requirements.
Expert in large scale solutions.
Experience with applying appropriate security controls for sensitive data in on premise and cloud environments
Preferred strong business and technical knowledge in Payroll.
Experience managing applications that are in scope for Sarbanes Oxley IT controls
Knowledge of security controls for on premise and public cloud projects and managing secure development processes
