Welcome to UPS! We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team as temporary Ramp Agents for the summer season. As a Ramp Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo and packages. We are looking for candidates who are driven, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo and packages onto and off of UPS aircrafts.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while handling packages and operating equipment.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling and sorting packages.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Keep track of inventory and report any discrepancies or damages to packages.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Cross-train and assist in other areas of the operation as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Comply with all safety and security procedures and regulations.
- Attend and participate in training and meetings as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Fitness: As An Agentes De Rampa, You Will Be Required To Handle Packages And Operate Heavy Equipment, Such As Forklifts And Tugs. Therefore, It Is Important That Candidates Possess Physical Strength And Endurance To Perform These Tasks Efficiently.
Ability To Work Outdoors: This Position May Require Working Outdoors In Various Weather Conditions, Including Extreme Temperatures. Candidates Must Be Able To Adapt To Working In These Environments And Be Comfortable Working Outside For Extended Periods Of Time.
Attention To Detail: As An Agentes De Rampa, You Will Be Responsible For Loading And Unloading Packages From Aircrafts And Trucks. It Is Crucial That Candidates Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That Packages Are Handled Correctly And Efficiently.
Teamwork: This Role Requires Working Closely With A Team Of Other Ramp Agents And Coordinating Tasks To Ensure Smooth And Timely Operations. Candidates Must Possess Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Their Colleagues.
Flexibility: Ups Operates 24/7, Which May Require Candidates To Work Varying Shifts, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays. Flexibility In Scheduling Is An Important Qualification For This Role.
