- Conduct research and experiments under the supervision of senior research scientists.

A Graduate Degree In Veterinary Science Or A Related Field: A Research Scientist, Assistant In Veterinary Science At The University Of Wyoming Should Possess At Least A Master's Degree In Veterinary Science Or A Relevant Field Such As Animal Science, Biology, Or Zoology. This Educational Background Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Conduct Research In The Field Of Veterinary Science.
Experience In Veterinary Research: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In Conducting Research In The Field Of Veterinary Science. This Could Include Experience In Animal Handling, Data Collection And Analysis, And Laboratory Techniques.
Knowledge Of Animal Care And Welfare: As A Research Scientist, Assistant In Veterinary Science, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Animal Care And Welfare. This Includes Knowledge Of Animal Behavior, Nutrition, And Health, As Well As Ethical Considerations In Animal Research.
