- Continuously evaluate and improve billing processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to ensure smooth and timely processing of payments.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all patient accounts and billing activities.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and billing.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations related to billing and collections.
A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Medical Billing And Coding, Preferably In A Family Medicine Setting.
Knowledge Of Insurance Billing And Reimbursement Processes, Including Medicare And Medicaid.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Providers, And Insurance Companies.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Billing Software.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Maintain Accurate And Confidential Patient Records.
