1. Serve as a role model and mentor to a diverse group of students living in university housing during the summer session.
2. Promote a welcoming and inclusive community by fostering a sense of belonging and respect among residents.
3. Enforce university policies and procedures, while also educating residents on their responsibilities and rights as members of the community.
4. Respond to and address any conflicts or concerns among residents in a timely and professional manner.
5. Collaborate with other summer staff members to plan and implement community-building and educational programs for residents.
6. Conduct regular rounds and room checks to ensure the safety and security of residents.
7. Serve as a resource for residents, providing information and referrals to university resources and services.
8. Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks, such as incident reports and room inspections.
9. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other departmental events.
10. Serve on a rotating on-call duty schedule to address any emergencies or issues that may arise outside of regular business hours.
