  1. Develop and implement annual giving strategies to increase fundraising efforts and meet set goals for the University of Wyoming Foundation.
  2. Lead and manage a team of annual giving professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the success of fundraising initiatives.
  3. Work closely with the Foundation's leadership team to develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans that align with the University's priorities.
  4. Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, alumni, and other key stakeholders to secure annual gifts and build long-term relationships.
  5. Utilize data and analytics to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize annual giving strategies.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the University and the Foundation to coordinate and execute fundraising efforts and ensure a cohesive approach to donor engagement.
  7. Develop and manage the annual giving budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum results.
  8. Create and oversee the implementation of donor recognition and stewardship programs to show appreciation and strengthen donor relationships.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in annual giving and philanthropy, and incorporate new strategies and techniques into fundraising efforts.
  10. Represent the University and the Foundation at events and functions, serving as an ambassador for the organization and promoting its mission and goals.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions and gifts, following all ethical and legal standards and guidelines.
  12. Serve as a liaison between the University and donors, providing timely and informative communication to keep donors engaged and informed about the impact of their gifts.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the annual giving team and across the Foundation, promoting teamwork, accountability, and a shared commitment to achieving fundraising goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Marketing, Communications, Or Nonprofit Management.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Fundraising Or Annual Giving, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Demonstrated Success In Achieving Fundraising Goals And Increasing Donor Participation.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Motivate And Engage Staff And Volunteers.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Donors, Alumni, And Other Stakeholders.
